Hi, tnx for your answer. The thing is obviously: since the gpg-agent is being used the settings in engmail are of no relevance any more. I´m quoting user "muzel" here, senior member of "thunderbird-mail.de-forum". This problem is currently being discussed here: https://www.thunderbird-mail.de/forum/thread/79699-passphrase-wird-nicht-mehr-abgefragt/?postID=432838#post432838 . Yet in German language.
