I've been using it for quite some time, but now it's time to refocus on
integrating the new Enlightenment. However, for those who might be
interested, the current results are truly impressive.
You can download it on this link

The system is live and installable, extremely stable, very well integrated and well-customized for a productive operating system environment. It's loaded with useful software and also includes the latest EFL / E builds,
directly available via apt-get.

There was also released a special "retrowave / synthwave looknfeel" version
some months ago based on debian/bullseye:

I really like the concept behind this theme, if you can send me a link to the assets you used for it and maybe the one you started the demo video with I can port both to the current E or atleast get a good bulk of the work done pretty quickly.

I've slowly been working on a "Theme Engine" for current e that makes it easier to import some of the older e16 and gtk themes.

Agreed, "retrowave / synthwave looknfeel" noeonish theme has a pleasant look!

By the way, recently I custom built EFL 1.27, Enlightenment 0.26, Terminology 1.13, and Eterm 0.9.6, for my recent build update of my custom -patched reiser4 kernel on Debian Bookworm with GCC12. I still compute with similar reiser4 kernel in remote system(s). Locally, still using Simon Lee's updated Dark theme:

Thinking about updating Metztli Reiser4 with a such an E default WM. We will see... as I have not updated it since the reiser4 developer stopped producing patched for newer kernel:

-- Eduard, is there any hope of adapting reiser4 for kernel 6.x?

-- About a week of free time is needed for this, which I can't find yet, unfortunately...

Best Professional Regards.

P.S. Before embarking on reiser4 on my own, many moons ago, I tried Elive because it was the *only* distro that I found which advertised such support for such a cool and resilient file system.

Notwithstanding, probably because of naïvety of mine, I found it non-intuitive to install from the Elive USB image into my computing device hard disk. Probably my 'denseness' on Elive was due to my gradual evolving habit of installing Debian from console or text-based installation routines, i.e., similar to my long hours spent installing hardware-quirky OS/2 Warp 3 until finally I understood it well enough and can now hack an OS/2 2.11 (even SMP) into a 10-minute VirtualBox installation slice :D
