Setup-gettext should have been installed by typing ./setup-gettext --install. Somewhere after AM_GNU_GETTEXT in configure.in, place the line: AM_GNU_GETTEXT_VERSION(0.10.40)
(The version number can really be anything, in my experience. It just wants the macro to exist)
Thanks - now I can run ./autogen.sh and compile from a clean CVS checkout again :-)
The version number does matter, 1.2.3 was not good, 0.10.40 worked for me.
Is it possible to rsync(read) the CVS?
