For me, bulding edje has consistently failed. Running make is fine until: make[3]: Entering directory `/home/z1/e17/libs/edje/src/bin' gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I.. -I../lib -I../.. -I../.. -I../.. -I../../lib -I../../lib -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -g -O2 -c edje_main.c In file included from edje_main.c:1: edje.h:6:24: Ecore_Evas.h: No such file or directory edje_main.c:4: error: parse error before '*' token edje_main.c:4: warning: data definition has no type or storage class edje_main.c:9: error: parse error before '*' token edje_main.c:11: error: parse error before '*' token edje_main.c: In function `main_start': edje_main.c:19: error: `ECORE_EVENT_SIGNAL_EXIT' undeclared (first use in this function) edje_main.c:19: error: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once edje_main.c:19: error: for each function it appears in.) edje_main.c:22: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast edje_main.c:24: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast edje_main.c:36: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast edje_main.c:43: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast edje_main.c: At top level: edje_main.c:58: error: parse error before '*' token edje_main.c:74: error: parse error before'*' token make[3]: *** [edje_main.o] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory`/home/z1/e17/libs/edje/src/bin'
I have checked and can find no Ecore_Evas.h anywhere on the system, despite having fully built and installed E17. I am guessing its loss is what is causing the other errors. Also, I can't help but notice that libs/ecore/src/lib/* are all empty but in the repository contain many deleted files in the Attic, including ecore_evas/Ecore_Evas.h Has there been a bad commit somewhere? -- It's not true unless it makes you laugh, but you don't understand until it makes you weep.
