My primary suspicion here is that the Xsession file put in /etc/X11/xdm is actually part of the xdm package. Whereas there is no xdm package on Mandrake (and I assume Red Hat), being integrated into the XFree86 package itself, it isn't really much of an issue here. But I believe some other distributions, notably Debian do have xdm as an independent package. In that case, we certainly do not want to make Entrance dependent on xdm. So I guess the real question then is that do we stat() for the files, use configure or include our own Xsession file? > On another note regarding entrance: > I had a very bad experience with "entrance" causing X to respawn > continuously, > and lock me out of my system, requiring a power-off. Hopefully I should get it in working condition very soon so you can test, so hang in there :) > John -- Ibukun Olumuyiwa http://xcomputerman.com ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ enlightenment-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel
