Your best bet is *right* *now* do the following: 1) Note the *filing* date on their patent. 2) Decide if your code was written before or after that date. 3) If before, drop the USPTO and Microsoft a note that says you have prior art for the patent in question. 4) If your code was written after, run like hell to someplace that has sane patent laws. :)
