To debug this I'd start in Config_ECursor(), check the reading of the RGB values, trace it down into CreateECursor(), and see that the colors get allocated properly.
I didn't have to go quite that far... I found a typo in the first function. After correcting it, i recompiled to make sure i hadn't messed anything up, and the colours were back :) Here's the diff:
