actually no. fvwm-xpm was a hack. e 1.0alpha was a clean up of the hack and name
change. then Dr 0.1 came out - it was written from scratch - fvm was not
involved up to E 0.13 - then a rewrite happend for 0.14 and that code base lives
to today in 0.16.6. 0.17 (in progress) is a new code rewrite - e doesn't rewrite
that often - its every few years! :) so as happens 0.17 will be the 2nd rewrite
(i dont consider Dr 0.1 a rewrite as it was just a "write" as E 1.0alpha was
just a bad hack ontop of fvwm)
