And apt-directory is a good idea but only for publishing the packages
but a script should be needed to build all the packages.

The problem is that packages need previous dev one to be installed
before building the former.

I develop librairies to and I have a global configure which build all
the libs running there own configure and makefile scripts. By default,
the libs configure refer to the other libs and .h in the development
tree and don't use pkgname-config --cflags utilities.
But the libs can be built individually passing a --with- option to
configure to use `installed' packages.

In fact, all my libs are considered as 1 package when building them but
they can be installed and used individually.

Should it be a good way for building the e17libs ?
