Oooooooooooooooooooooooh. Where do I start... Actually. I don't know where to start. What are you trying to talk about EXACTLY? I can't give you a everything- I'd be typing for days! :)
For me I like the design philosophy. The ability to do anything I wish the way I'd like to do it (the choice is always the user's!), rather than having certain elements of the desktop imposed upon me. Other desktops often include items that are intended to make it easier - what if I dont use or dont want those particular aspects? Often it's very hard to try and remove them! E tends to customise everything and leaves the decision up to you whether you wish to use it or not and how you wish to use it.
