This usually happens after dragging the window across to another virtual desktop. I'm using a modified Phlat theme and couldn't reproduce this with Brushed metal tigert, so it might be a problem with the particula font of that theme. It is very minor anyway.

I'm aware of this one. It happens when imlib2 renders on a partially
offscreen window (offscreen left or top only). I suspect it is a bug in
imlib2 but I could be wrong.

2nd:
when dragging windows across virtual desktops, they sometimes disappear. What I mean by that is, that when I drag a window to the next virtual desktop, while holding the mouse button, i see the animation that evrerything is moving over to the other virtual desktop, but the window I was dragging is not displayed anymore. As soon as I realease the mouse button to let go of the window, it is displayed again, at the position I moved to. I have e configured to wrap virtual desktops if that matters.

OK, I'll have to sort that out.

I just noticed that in interactive mode of eesh, backspace delete etc. don't work and just display control characters, I'm not sure if this is a misconfiguration on my part, although everything else works fine, or if eesh does not have that feature.

Yes. Eesh has absolutely no input processing. This is not new. I'm using
a "hacked" eesh with GNU readline support myself, but we cannot
distribute that because GNU readline is GPL and we are BSD.
Several distributions include alternative implementations of readline
(libedit, editline). I have been hoping that somebody would fix up eesh
to use one of these :)

I hope I described everything clearly enough, I'm willing to do more testing if you need more information.
E is the best WM around so keep up the great work!
:)
