Settings") is even to long for the dialog window but it's really to long
for a menu entry.

1. How could I change the menu to display the localized setting menus?
2. Is there someone who likes to discuss the german translation at this

Regarding 1), I just answered that on e-users in connection with a French
translation update, see

I probably should have mentioned that -pre5 is required for this to
work.
I'd appreciate a comment from somebody who knows gettext, though.
Otherwise I'll probably go ahead and make the dummy C-file for this
kind of strings.
