skippy ( http://thegraveyard.org/skippy.php ) is an expose-like thing, and is
thus cool. However, when started during an E session, it comes up with the
error:
X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource
denied )
Major opcode of failed request: 33 (X_GrabKey)
Serial number of failed request: 76
Current serial number in output stream: 76
But when started under fluxbox, and then transferred to E (X stays open all the
time, flux closes and E opens), it works. It can then be killed and started
again, and it still works.
Any idea what's up with this? I would guess that flux initialises some part of
X that E doesn't, and skippy needs that part, but I've never worked with the X
protocol, so I don't know :/
Booting into flux only to start skippy then going into E from there is an
annoying solution, any better ideas would be appreciated ^_^
