Whether full-texted or URLed. I think this is an excellent idea. There are probably a lot of "tips and tricks" that lurk inside my, and other developers heads that never get out. I think we should think this through a bit more though. I think we should co-ordinate this and have a seminars section on www.enlightenment.org - maybe edevelop.org? in fact. what are we going to do with enlightenment.org vs. edevelop.org - should we keep enlightenment.org as is - and maybe turn edevelop.org into a seminar, coding blogs, etc. dynamic site that e.org refers to? we need a good way of doing this kind of thing. it's more than just text too. it will often include diagrams, screenshots, images etc. so we need a way of having that stuff available within such a document. > Possible topics: > > - gcc command-line options for building EFL applications and simplest > Makefile; > (everyone has his own first Makefile, I'm sure lot's of people will try > C after seeing EFL apps) > > - more complex -- autofoo and "official" directory structure of EFL > application; > > - EFL coding style; > > - usage of python bindings; > > - usage of perl bindings; > > - basics of secure coding; > (no more len = strlen(str); str[len-1] = '\0';) > > - using OpenSSL with Ecore_Con > > - basics of UTF8 support; > > - OO analysis and development, development patterns; > (C is OO enough, don't you know?
