technically emotion has the infrastructure to support multiple loadable modules
to provide media feeds - BUT right now the only one there is a xine module, so
it does everything. you are right though - xine does take a while to start
anything :) there isn't much i can do about this as thats just how long xine
takes to do whatever it is doing at the start. the solution would be to use
something more specific to playing mp3's - perhaps find something and write a
module to do just that for emotion and hook it in so it is used instead of the
xine "beast" if the file is an mp3 (or stream)
