kwo had helped me find the "outlen" error, so I'd already corrected that locally. But thanks for spotting my iconv_open() stupidity. :( Now I just have to figure out why it claims there's an "illegal multibyte sequence" when I "man Eterm" under UTF-8. :( Michael -- Michael Jennings (a.k.a.
