I was just about to upload the way past due 0.16.7.2 packages
when this non-free font issue popped up. I'm not terribly interested in moving the e16 packages to the non-free section.

That leaves two options: change the fonts or throw everything out. The former has proven to be a touchy issue in the past. The
latter is the default course if I do nothing.

Comments?

I am not going to make an issue out of any font changes you may want to
do for the debian distribution.
Maybe some of the original artists would? Since nobody responded to your
last mail, I assume not.

Is there a list of the fonts considered free by debian somewhere?

If 0.16.7.2 indeed makes it into debian, I think a lot of bug issues can
be resolved.
