it should inherit links FROM libedje.so.
ie:
edje_LDADD = \
$(top_builddir)/src/lib/libedje.la
tje edje lib is told to link to ecore and evas - thus the binaries should
inherit this by linking to libedje.

yes- and this should be inherited from libedje.

i am not sure why it isnt dragging in the dependencies from libedje for you,
but it is for me (and most people) without inheriting this it would never have
compile d for me in the first place - ie the software wouldn't ever have even
run for developers.

as i mentioned :) it should INHERIT from libedje (libedje.la) and libtool
should handle things from there. why it's not being handled i don't know :(
