Alexandre, would you mind testing something for me? I have noticed a
possible correlation of when GAIM crashes... It seems like it's tied to
Evolution.

Are you running Evolution? I've noticed a few things and i'm wondering
if you'll see the same results...

- If I start GAIM but do not login, it does not crash on close. (None of
my accounts are set to automatically connect) I opened and closed it
around 10 times... no crash.

- If I start GAIM and login but do not have Evolution running, it does
not crash. Again, I did this about 10 times with the same results.

- If I start Evolution, then start GAIM and login, GAIM crashes E on
exit... every time.

Now, although I originally though this was just a fluke, Evolution and
GAIM are tied together now via the Evolution Data Server. Both Evolution
and GAIM are compiled with EDS support on my system.

I'm still going to recompile ecore and E with debugging turned on and
get a good backtrace, but it was just an interesting situation I ran
into that I thought i'd share.

If anyone else happens to notice this same behavior, maybe it will help
to shed some more light on things.

Thanks,
Ed
