Just to let you know I finished writing Python bindings to Evas >=0.9.9,
under the name of pyevas, and it can be downloaded from sourceforge[1], or
from bitkeeper repository[2]. It includes support for newer evas features
(textblock objects, etc.), and there is a faithful rewrite of the original
evas_*_x11_test demo for testing.
