I think we are running out of ideas because I'm using automake 1.7 as decribed in: http://enlightenment.org/Enlightenment/Get_Enlightenment/Build_Notes.html And to make sure, I uninstalled 1.7 and installed 1.5 and tried recompiling engrave and still no success.
