Just updated CVS last night, compiled this morning, and now glut works fine. Must have just been a problem with the version I had. Thanks for the reply.
I'm playing Curse Of Monkey Island at the moment, great game :). Whilst I'm babbling anyway I'll just mention that e17 is great, I use it constantly now. Xfce hardly ever even gets a look in.
