We are already talking about everything we wish to implement because we know that at some point, E18 could use evfs. We also plan to share things like icons and a themeing format eventually. > Don't get me wrong, I can guess a couple of answers myself: since the > codebases use different libraries it will probably not be streight > forward to "merge" it. Libraries anf fun aside, Efm is *not* the same as either Evidence or Entropy. Efm's main point is to be E17's internal file selector (selecting a bg image, a theme, fonts etc...). Efm is, in itself, an embeddable object that can be used anywhere in E. It will also provide the icons on the desktop. The current Efm being a file manager is a way to demo how it works, as it can easily double as a simple file manager. -- Hisham Mardam Bey MSc (Computer Science) http://hisham.cc/ +9613609386 Codito Ergo Sum (I Code Therefore I Am) ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl _______________________________________________ enlightenment-devel mailing list enlightenment-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-devel
