The link's there, but none of the mirrors appear to still have the file
=O(

So I moved aside my 0.17 build, unpacked the tarball again, and
rebuilt. And I'm now running off that e16, and all is well. The binary
is different from the 0.17 build I've been using until now - it appears
to be half the size for a start, so I must have had the gcc upgraded
under me on the SunRay server. But pmap shows I'm definitely running
the binary from this newer build, and it worked fine.

Personally I think something's changed in the event handling code.
Going to --fast worked because it was no longer waiting for some signal
to open the "doors". But while the menus came up, selecting a Settings
dialogue produced nothing. So I guess whatever makes those appear
wasn't being sent?

I can stick with 0.17 if this can't be fixed. There are a few
annoyances with the way the title bar sometimes gets corrupted that
appear to be a lot better in pre1, but otherwise, I can't use the
composite stuff, and never see any crashes, so...

Many thanks,
