Then you need to pay closer attention. In any event, it's true. Web pages simply don't have to update right away. They change so infrequently anyway, what difference does it make? It's not like the old CVS system was instantaneous or something. You had to update the page, regenerate everything, check it all in, log into SF, and do an update.
