Moving the site, changing SCM's (if > we choose to, sounds like we won't), changing CMS's, etc, etc, just > lumping these together and getting it over with now rather than > incrementally doing things seems like a prudent option to consider. i agree with mej - one thing at a time. if we get a new server, move anon cvs to our own - thats one thing -a second step woudl be just moving the website off - as it stands. since we then run the show - a 3rd step could be to improve the site from there. but thats several steps down the road regardless. a lot of issues can be solved when xsm gets a better ui (handy is working on it) and speedups by moving it to new server so rsyncs are faster. i am sure handy can provide something like a local-preview too that doesnt need to rsync to sf.net or the live site wherever it is. anyway - there are multiple things to look at here and lets tackle them one at a time. :) > benr. > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
