3. ex is for "extra". This init function sends the app args to the main loop and is for use with quicklaunch. The corresponding shutdown function only exists to provide a paired function. 4. There's been some progress on this, but it's not a release blocker since it's been an issue since ca. 1.19 5. There's been a patch for this up for review for about a week now (D6675). 6. May be a regression, but the use case is extremely limited and it's unlikely to affect anything other than the original ticket. Not something that should block a release most likely. 7. This has had a patch up for review for over a month but it seems nobody knows genlist enough to review it. 10. Most of these look like 1.22 items and people forgot to add the 1.22 tag.
