That's probably it since I found a few only installs of E17 libs floating around /usr/lib. It seems I was not able to remove all since I'm still getting the problem. Is there any straightforward solution coming to the mind of anyone? I'll be running grep -R "libedje" /usr/lib but it'll probably take forever and even if returns nothing I'll still be in trouble.
