Hi, a few years ago, I proposed to use pkg-config instead of foo-config for the EFL. The suggestion was shot down quickly, because apparently there were some issues with libpng back then.
I'd like to propose to use pkg-config again now. libpng is only required by evas and imlib2 AFAIK, and if libpng's pc file really causes that much trouble (which I don't think is likely), we can still hardcode the CFLAGS/LDFLAGS needed for it evas.pc resp. imlib2.pc. So, any serious reasons against using it? Regards, Tilman -- A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing? A: Top-posting. Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?
