Here is the code I've been working on to support the fdo shared mime specification. Some of it was borrowed from the current code in E for the file manager. It has been extended to support the magic matching as well. Surprisingly, the magic matching has been faster in almost every case I've tried. I of course have access to CVS, but wanted to have a few people look over the code before I merge it in. Also it's still up in the air as to where this will go even though it is setup to be put into efreet. I haven't had any luck attaching things on this list so you can obtain the code here:
