Hm, the latest revision I get is 564, but that's the one I'm currently 
using. How long does it normally take for commits to become available?

No, it doesn't, works fine with bling. But the first problem (white bar) 
does actually become worse when using composite. I thought I tried it 
before and things looked good then, but now I get the white bar at 
startup as well as a semi-transparent "composite-like" dark grayish bar 
with both the taskbar and the launcher instances every second time I 
restart e (works like a switch).
