I started working on my first module this weekend and I spent more time fiddling around in autobloat than actually coding. A skeleton is a brilliant idea. It still makes me wonder, is it *REALLY* necessary for a module making less than 5 gcc calls to have all this crap around the sources? The one thing that really stopped me from going Makefile-only was a nice way to find the build @host@ used to install the modules in the right directory.
