Sure, it's of course easy to upload things 2 times, to be sure that all the modules are at the same version, same for all themes, etc... > Why can't there be many sites each catering to specific needs.. I agree here. But with get-e.org and exchange, we had 2 sites that host the *same* things. It would be a pain to maintain both sites, especially if the number of themes, background apps, modules, etc... grows a lot.
