Well that's quite close-minded. I don't agree to have different
libraries for different libs within E (and I presume eina will take over
from evas and ecore), but refusing to link to an LGPL library ... Well,
if you want to make your life difficult, be my guest, but don't presume
that everyone else does. Some of us just want to code, not go into the
politics of code itself.

Are eina and etk your work? Take whatever you want from ewl and close
it, it's your work, and you are certainly free to do so. Also, even LGPL
can't force you to release your modifications, if the result is not
public anyway (if you keep it in your basement, no one will care). 

Again, while it is bothersome that now we have to deal with multiple
licenses, no one is forcing you to change to lgpl.
