Now i tested with plugging an LCD from hdmi out and vola, i got the video output, directfb examples worked also. I was using scart output. Seems the box is giving the video out from hdmi by default.
Couldn't test my app yet but will test it asap. I just borrowed my friends LCD to see there is nothing wrong with directfb. Sorry for bothering. Thanx for your interest.
