Hi,

As some of you know I'm participating in Mozilla's Design Challenge [1]. Now
I have to turn my concept [2] into a working prototype (which is supposed to
be quite simple, just a clickable UI). Also, as most of you know - I can't
code (I'm "the icon guy") thus I'm asking you.
Toma helped and wrote the a part of it in Edje already, but he won't have
time to finish it. Sachiel also agreed on helping out, but is unsure if he
will have time to finish out the whole thing.
So, if you want to help and practice your Edje skills a bit - please contact
me. By doing this you'll also help E gain some popularity - Mozilla will
surely make some buzz about the students' prototypes and ideas, people will
see mine, probably would downoad the code (which means EFL as well), etc.

Here is with what Toma already did:

--------------
What is done:

The layout. Almost the whole UI.

What is left to be done:

The hide interface button should work and hide the UI. The Ubiquity/Settings
buttons work and show windows (tho they need to be a bit bigger), but they
do not hide them back when click again. The bookmark/history buttons should
work as well (show small popup and a menu respectively).

Tabs
I'd like to see the Scrolltabs idea implemented:
http://worrydream.com/Scrolltabs/
If that requires too much effort - we'll go with traditional tabs.

Make the buttons "clickable". The buttons should appear darker when clicked.
This could be done either by me making some darker versions of the current
buttons or via some nice Edje effect.

A tooltip should appear when you drag a link a bit with the url of where the
link is.. linking. This a way to make the browser even more chromeless (no
need for statusbar).

If possible - a status bar integrated in the address bar. Just like in
Safari.

If possible - make all widgets able to "de-attach" from one another and able
to float/be dragged around.

Finally one of the tabbed pages should be empty with a small floating window
inside. Thats supposed to be the "special" tab for the extensions'
interfaces. Not sure if this is possible in Edje or if it would require too
much coding - if so, we won't do it.

--------------

Remember that all this is "faked" functionality - no real html engine
behind, no such complicated stuff. thats just a prototype, a place holder.

The Deadline is 19th of April 2009.

If you have questions - please, do ask. I probably haven't explained
everything in detail.

A bit thanks in advance! :-)
