Depends how much people are willing to do and what their
skills are. Much of the api and the soft32 rendering work has
already been done - for image/grad "fill" transforms at least
(needs some additional patches to fix some accuracy issues
with the early version, and a couple of other refinements,
but that's already been worked out).
So, that would give it for the soft32 based engines, for
image/grad fill-transforms. If more people covered more engine
types, then more of 'evas' would be covered.
If you have some experience with xrender you could work on
that engine - not too difficult just some xrender requirements
to be considered. If instead you're familiar with OpenGL then
you could work on that - more work needed here for evas gl
coverage. And similarly for other rendering backends that
implement various other evas engines (either 'natively' or
partly via software rendering).

Adding these to edje would then be straightforward once
a choice is made on a suitable way of describing this in edc.

But it's Carsten's decision on when/whether to proceed with
this - he's the evas maintainer - so you may want to coordinate
with him about it.
