The compiler output from attempting to build Evas is 175K! I clipped out some indicative sections and attached them. I also found that I cannot build Ecore but that does not produce such massive output so I attached that in its entirety. I was able to compile Eina. I have a binary version of E17 on my system which is fairly old and this may well be the problem. I think the compilation may be pulling headers from that old system. I may need to delete it and build a complete E17 from SVN, something I really did not want to do at the moment. I wanted to install the SVN version of Evas locally for some experiments with functions which seem to have been added since the older version was built.
