hello,

I have made some test with a vertical layout and a list of items which
contains a textarea and my conclusion is : we can't do something perfect :p

let me explain, maybe I don't understand correctly how layouts work.

We can use a weight to let the layout calculate the size of the item, in a
vertical layout the layout will works on the height. Of course the layout
will take care of hint_size_max and min.
If I have 3 items with a additional size < to the layout part size, the
layout will increase each items to fill the layout part and will decrease
them if the layout part is too small.

Ok now I want than my 3 items are set to the top of my vertical layout, the
empty space in the layout part does'nt have to be fill. How I am supposed to
do ? I can't calculate a max size as the size will depends of the width of
the layout part. How can I say to the layout: use the min height of each
items but this height depend of the width you give to the item ?

Regards.
