I haven't said it is better, nor do I think it is better. I think eina should stay at what its intent was, an ADT lib. If people feel that a file abstraction (that does not depend on the ecore loop) should be shared between ecore and evas, then create a new lib. I think any lib should have a technical scope and not a scope which is defined by bridging evas and ecore.
