Howdy! After tinkering with the Mixer theme to make it feel more organic, I came to the conclusion that the mixer scale is a off, so anything I do with the theme is still not that 'correct'. Most things that use volume sliders these days use a base 10 logarithm to follow the natural progression of the decibel scale. Obviously this doesnt work for 0 - 100 volume scales that alsa provides. I think pulse has a 'cubic' type of volume mixer available... but anyway.
