If by "installer" you mean a simple point and clicky thing that
installs everything they need to run an elementary app, including that
app, then yes.  That would be helpful in the future.  I would be
targeting desktop Windows, I guess XP, Vista, and Win 7.  If it works
fine under WinCE and others, then that's a bonus.  Doing my development
in linux.  So the less I have to do for Windows, the happier I'll be.

It does look like it will help part of the way to producing a Windows
binary for testing.

Hmmm, an "insert elementary app here", produce a single installer .exe
to download, that is pretty and simple to use, just like everyone else
in the Windows world, thingy would help a lot for people developing on
linux, but wanting a Windows version in the end.  If I can use it by
cross compiling and not actually have to use Windows, then that's the
nightmare I want to avoid.  No way in hell do I want to actually pay
for and install Windows.  At most, wandering down to the 'net cafe for
testing is OK.  I could use the exercise.

I know, asking too much.  lol
