   Since I wrote the gradient code I thought I'd give you some final
remarks on this.

   First of all, no I have no desire to further support evas code.

   Now, should evas remove all 'direct' gradient support?

   Well, I'd argue that's a huge mistake, not only for gradients
but also for other gfx aspects (vector and otherwise). The comments
made by some about supporting only 'indirect', image-rendered stuff
are naive and foolishly restrictive. It's also no way to stimulate
anyone to contribute anything but simplistic, suboptimal solutions.

   I'd suggest that the project learn and cultivate expertise
in dealing with such gfx matters, not sweep them under the rug
as an excuse for lack of experience or competence in such.

   But it's your call... do as you see best.
