To any one. Since begin july, after Andreas had changed the interface management, a bug appeared.
I have set Thunderbird to remember various things, amongst which: - remember size - remember locks - lock size: prevent app from changing size I want TB to be 1181 pixel width, but it sticks to monitor size (1280). The problem is linked to a bug in thunderbird, which used to auto-remember the size i want; a bug in the them plugin make it ... bug. Still, remember+lock should make E overwrite this. I think Andreas altered the "windows creation code", and, "probably" IMHO removed the part that make conditionally inherit the size from the remember settings ... IMHO. I triple checked an other problem: I had similar problem with OOo, but, after reboot, E had even forget I had ticked remember boxes; OOo windows properties are too much dynamic, and E can not remeber anything. About TB, E can remember things: even after reboot, the remember and lock boxes are ticked ... but don't have effect. Please restaure old working feature.
