Hey guys,

with regards to the commit message part:
I think it might be an idea to formalize the header of a commit message and
make the server reject commits if necessary.

As you know, a couple of weeks ago, I had a little poll [0] around. It showed
that there are enough git users, making it worth for me as yet another one, to
dig more into it.
So I talked with nash (since I'm not to experienced with git and svn) about it
on IRC and instead of hosting an own one, we will try to contact the
professionals on this topic as e.g. github, to take advantage of their
experience, first. Nash will contact the github guys, as soon as he returns
from his current trip, he told me.

But it would be very nice if others (k-s, etrunko, lfelipe, ryback) tell about
the problems they faced when keeping svn and git in sync back then.

BR,

Leif
