instead of clicked? thats what clicked was meant to be - maybe it should have
been activate. we can make it be 2 signals for now and kill off the old clicked
one after a while. but selected still makes sense as the item is selected or
not. if you are just moving through moving focus before you select the item
then it's "focused".
