debian packages contain the up to date debian packaging control files etc. it's
not maintained in our svn. i'm mulling over perhaps removing both debian and
spec files.
anyone have any input on that? if these are not nicely handled by packagers and
distros anyway - we dont need to keep them in svn. our spec and debian files i
know are pretty out of date by now anyway so claiming that we need to keep them
to build pkgs for our own uses isn't really valid as they... don't even work. :)
