All, I am quite disappointed to report that we have not been selected for Google Summer of Code this year. Google is only able to accept a certain number of mentoring organizations each year and they always receive many more applications than they can accommodate.
There is an IRC meeting scheduled with Google administrators on March 22nd at which time the rejected organizations will have an opportunity to learn why it is they did not make the cut. I will be sure to attend the meeting. We have had successful GSoC years in the past and we look forward to applying again in the future in order to participate again. -- Regards, Ravenlock
