I was a bit optimistic in my enabling of the vlc module; I tested it but was
apparently using an old version that wasn't actually loading/using the vlc
module.
I've done all the work to update the api to the current libvlc stuff, but I just
got hammered with a gigantic amount of work at a meeting tonight so I will
probably not have time to do anything further in the near future :(
