hey, just a note about the PDF rendering. I've noticed that mupdf is a bit faster than poppler (mupdf rendering is regularly below 1E-2 s, while poppler is always above 1E-2 s). Note also that I can make the mupdf rendering faster by removing a memcpy of the whole page.
